We specialise in pet-friendly holidays here and you are very welcome to bring your dog to stay in either of our shepherd’s huts, or the Watch House. At the huts we also welcome your well-behaved cat, tortoise, pet rabbit or pony!
AT THE HUTS
There are plenty of lovely walks right from the door of your hut, along our flower-filled lanes and across Treworgey’s beautiful 150 acres of rolling green hills with fabulous views to the sea and the Looe river. You have your very own enclosed private little paddock and we always keep a field free for dogs to run loose. We have outside taps available at your hut and around the farm which come in handy in winter for those who like to walk for miles whatever the weather.
In your hut is an information folder giving information about local attractions and beaches that welcome dogs, including our personal recommendations.
AT THE WATCH HOUSE
The Watch House is perfectly situated for endless walks on the beautiful South West Coast Path.
PRICES
Please note we make a charge of £6 per dog per night or £30 per dog per week. This is because we allow time for extra cleaning after our doggy guests have stayed, as some of our guests are allergic to animals.
We are dog lovers and owners ourselves, so we understand what makes a stay truly dog friendly, but at Treworgey Farm and on the coast path, you will come across sheep, cattle and other livestock. We do ask guests to follow the country code and leave all gates as you find them and keep dogs on a lead when in the close vicinity of stock. We also ask that guests don’t go out and leave dogs alone in the hut or the Watch House.
